Challenged Champions!

This week on Saturday Night Vibe: two champions responded to two fierce challengers as ACW Champion “Da Pope” Elijah Burke sat down for an in-ring interview and ACW Women’s Champion Kaylia Capri stood up to face Cassandra Golden’s locker room challenge.

In our first match of the evening, Cassandra Golden defeated the debuting Gia Michel, before heading to the locker room to confront ACW Women’s Champion Kaylia Capri. The Golden One threatened to take Kaylia’s title, but the champ was unfazed, standing toe-to-toe with the powerhouse. Can we expect a women’s championship match between the two in the near future?

In our second bout, PAC Ortega faced Jay Rios De La Sangre in fast-paced, lucha style, wrestling action. Though the larger PAC put up a strong fight, he was no match for Rios’ strategic wrestling acumen, and he ultimately succumbed to an artfully timed low blow out of sight of the referee. Can anyone out-think Rios in the ring?

Perhaps in an effort to do what his General, Oba Zo, could not, Prince Agballah faced two opponents in a two-on-one match for our main event of the evening. Though the young wrestlers, one of whom is the son of famed wrestler Funaki, gave it their all, they were no match for the princely powerhouse. With his eyes set on the ACW Championship, we wondered what our current champion’s thoughts were on the matter.

Gerard Bonner, one half of our ACW Commentary Team, sat down for an in-ring interview with ACW Champion “Da Pope” Elijah Burke to hear what our champion thinks about the confrontation with Prince Agballah. Mincing no words, Pope made it clear that he accepts Agballah’s challenge, and that he plans to pimp slap the Prince down a few ranks at Baha Bash II, happening June 28th at Baha Mar in Nassau, The Bahamas.
